Cheeky Cheek Duo: TheBalm

by Madeleine Borgersen

I was first introduced to the brand TheBalm after hearing about their cult powder highlight ‘Mary-Lou Manizer‘ ($34.95). It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous champagne coloured illuminator that packs a real punch and doesn’t fade. It’s probably overtaken MAC’s Soft & Gentle for me. Yeah it’s that good.

Cheeky Cheek Duo: TheBalm

Their blushes are just as good. After trying their Instain long-wearing powder blush (colour I was using ‘Swiss Dot’) ($37) I think my go-to cheek duo is sorted.

Just like the highlighter, their blushes do not move.

Perfect for anyone that loves a good blusher (let’s face it, who doesn’t?) and doesn’t want to have to carry around a compact to touch up every few hours TheBalm’s blushes come in six colours – ranging from a sweet, baby pink to a deep mauve.

The Balm products are stocked at David Jones, and also on They also produce their own range of hair care, skin care and nail lacquers as well as a full range of cosmetics.
