Best Root Volumizer Sprays

by Madeleine Borgersen

Everyone wants to add a bit more oomph to their locks, especially if you naturally have finer and flatter hair. Never fear! We’ve found the best volumizer root sprays for any type of hair that both add that extra body and protect your lovely locks!

Best Root Volumizer Sprays

1. Label M – Blow Out Spray – $28.95

I love the Label M because it really gives lift and bounce and also doubles up as a UV and Heat protectant. Anything that can mean I’m storing less products in my cupboards and putting less on my roots is a good thing.

It smells amazing and lasts for ages. Spray it throughout your roots and massage comb down to the ends to give your hair a lust-worthy shine and bounce when blowdryed.

2. Big Sexy Hair – Root Pump Plus – $27.95

The Big Sexy Hair is a mousse formula for anyone that prefers it, and man does it work. Think Fran Drescher height. Spray this baby onto your scalp when you have damp hair and massage in before blowdrying.

Why I love it so? Not only does it give killer volume, it also protects from humidity.

2. Original & Mineral – Rootalicious Root Lift – $31.95

Saving my personal favourite for last. Another foam formula, the Original & Mineral Rootalicious Root Lift is sprayed onto the roots (and combed through if you want some va-va-voomph all the way through) to damp hair and blowdryed to reveal drool-worthy volume for days on end.

A native Australian duo of natural actives work together to protect hair and pump up the volume. Lilly Pilly works body into the roots and Quandong conditions and protects the hair from styling.

Not convinced it will work for you? Check out my instagram pic after using it!

I’ve been using the Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish, and although I love it, I go through it soo quickly, and at $42 a pop it gets a bit expensive! Will definitely check out these options, especially the O&M Rootalicious which sounds… rootalicious! Haha x
