Pricey vs Priceline: Texturising Sprays

by Madeleine Borgersen

Perfect for adding bounce to flat hair or texture to braids or buns, texturising sprays are a limp locks lifesaver!

Pricey vs Priceline: Texturising Sprays

Pricey: Oribe – Dry Texturising Spray – $42

If you want glam hair, Oribe is your brand. Their signature product the Dry Texturising Spray brings flat hair to life building incredible volume and envious texture. But it doesn’t stop there, oh no.

The Oribe Dry Texturising Spray isn’t just a root lifter it’s also packed with patented polymers to absorb oil from the roots, aka the best dry shampoo/root lift combo you’ll ever try.

Shake and spray onto your locks whenever you want a freshen up or volume and style to set that texture in place. Want to really pump up the volume? Add a little heat with your blow dryer to activate the product even more giving you unthinkable lift.

The Oribe Dry Texturising Spray also has us singing it’s praise for it’s invisible formula (no more forgetting to brush the dry shampoo through!) and it’s UV protection with it’s Watermelon, Lychee and Edelweiss Flower extracts.

Priceline: Toni & Guy – Rough Texturiser – $10

Add this beauty to dry hair to provide instant lift. Perfect for perfecting that messy bun or braid the Toni & Guy Rough Texturiser gives the perfect casual volume with a gorgeous matte finish.

Spray it onto your dry hair (great to revitalising hair you left to air dry and now has zero volume!) and let it sit for a few seconds. Rough up your locks with your fingers and style how you wish.

The Verdict:

The pricier product wins out this week. Not only do we love the amazing volume Oribe’s Dry Texturising Spray gives us but also the added benefits of a dry shampoo and UV protector all in one gorgeous looking bottle.

If you’re a newbie to the land of texturising sprays definitely give the Toni & Guy a go – it’s a fantastic product but in terms of our go back to every time, Oribe wins today!

Umming and ahhing about the price tag? Add together the price of your dry shampoo, UV protector and volumiser and we’re sure you’ll close up that price gap.

Oribe’s Dry Texturising Spray smells of summer, cocktails and gives you hair to take on Miss Piggy’s. What’s not to love?

Have you used a texturising spray before? Which is your pick?
