This messy, gorgeous fishtail created by Nick Irwin for Catwalk by TIGI is the cutest way to tie up unruly day old hair.
Add some dry shampoo and texturising spray for that super volume (Oribe’s Dry Texturising Spray would be perfect here!) and use small discrete elastics every two inches down your fishtail braid to get that bubbly volume.

DIY Looped Pony Tail
This look is proof that a spritz of texturising spray can turn your look from year three classroom to ultimate cool.
Super simple (don’t we love that!) this loop and wrapped bun is one of my favourites from Blair.
The Half Fish Tail
Get bored half way through doing a braid? Yeah me too. Here’s the braid for when you really can’t be bothered.
Fish tail in big chunks and stop at the nape of your neck. Secure with an elastic and wrap a section of the left over pony around the band to hide. Spritz with some shoozer spray (my household term for texturising spray) and voila!
Don’t have an elastic handy? Never fear! This double knot pony will be your knight in shining armour.

Inside Out Pony
I love this look. It reminds me of when I’d loop my pony through in 1997 and sometimes when I was feeling really fancy I’d do it with piggy tails and pretend I was Sailor Moon. This version takes this easy, fun look to a new level adding intermittent elastics and creating multiple sleek loops.
