Leslie always wore a purple smokey eye and either nude or pink lip. Because I love a bright lip I’ve opted for this today.
1. Basic Base
Opt for a tinted moisturiser or natural finish foundation. Something like CoverGirl’s Tru Blend is perfect because it will blend seamlessly into your skin giving you the flawless complexion Leslie is know for (such a perfectionist!) whilst avoiding that Saturday Night out at the club look.
Ms Knope isn’t shy of a good blusher. Pick out a pink blush to give those cheeks a pop bringing the colour up and out to align with the outside of your eye. This gives you colour and a light contour as we won’t be wearing bronzer or illuminator with this look.
2. Blended Eyes
Create Leslie’s signature purple smokey eye in two seconds with Covergirl’s new Bombshell ShineShadows. They’re a cream base so blend super easily and come in a range of colours. You can then add a darker purple to your crease and a smudge-friendly eyeliner like L’Oreal Voluminous Smouldering Liner on your lash line to give you definition but not be too intense.
A volumising and thickening mascara like Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde (is at priceline now just not on their site!) over the top lashes will turn you into Leslie in a few quick coats.
