Pricey vs Priceline: Primers

by Madeleine Borgersen

Heard about primers but not sure really what one to get or how it can help? We’ve compared two of our favourite primers at the moment to find one perfect for your budget!

Pricey vs Priceline: Primers

Pricey: Arbonne Makeup Primer – $40

The Arbonne Makeup Primer is one of the best I’ve used in a long time. Think Hourglass’ Veil primer with a lower price tag. It instantly turns your skin into a velvet slate allowing your makeup to glide on seamlessly.

Packed with vitamins the Arbonne Makeup Primer also visibly reduces fine lines and pores making it the perfect blur cream come primer. A definite must-have for anyone wanting to consolidate their makeup bag.

It keeps any makeup snug tight especially around your oilier t-zone and is the perfect companion for anyone with longer days or let’s face it anyone that just doesn’t want the drama of having to touch up every ten minutes.

Priceline: Face of Australia – Face Base Primer – $11.95

Definitely the best primer this side of Priceline the Face of Australia Primer is super cheap and super effective. It’s not quite as nice to apply as the Arbonne but it will make your makeup stick like glue.

With Vitamin E and Chamomile the Face of Australia Primer will lock moisture in whilst giving an oil-free base for your foundation.

The Verdict:

The Arbonne will last a little longer and also is a dream to apply. The packaging is gorgeous and sturdy and you instantly feel more confident and radiant when you dab it over your cheeks. A primer will change the way you view makeup. I’m not kidding and for that, I’d have to recommend the Arbonne.

I love the name of this post! And a primer that sorts out an oily t-zone. Might have to get my hands on the Arbonne 🙂
