Top Cheap Foundations

by Madeleine Borgersen

Foundation is a makeup bag staple, that doesn’t mean you need to trade your first born for one. Here are our top cheap foundations for any skin type!

Top Cheap Foundations

L’Oreal True Match – $29.95

Probably one of the best cheap foundations I’ve ever tried. The L’Oreal True match is the perfect pick for anyone that fake tans or changes colour throughout the year. No matter what shade you are the foundation claims to mimic the shade of your skin. Sounds too good to be true? I thought so too, until I tried it!

Maybelline Fit Me – $18.95

Like the L’Oreal the Maybelline Fit Me foundation claims to give the perfect shade for you. This baby however has a lot larger shade range so it’s perfect for the very pale and very dark of us. It sits well on all skin types and is a more matte finish.

Rimmel Wake Me Up – $19.95

Perfect for those days when you stayed up the whole night before reading or watching too many episodes of Orange is the New Black. This pick of our cheap foundations features vitamins and minerals to illuminate and ‘wake up’ the skin. This range also features an amazing concealer!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation – $32.00

Featured last week in our Pricey vs Priceline, the Bourjois Serum Foundation is amazing for the price tag. Perfect for anyone that’s skin needs all the love it can get the Bourjois has a gorgeous satin finish and smells devine!

Natio Clever Stick – $16.95

Great for anyone that wants a cheap foundation that is a bit more portable. The Natio Clever Stick is a creamy stick foundation that is super blendable and has killer staying power. Perfect for anyone that wants a mid to high coverage, it covers any blemishes or redness whilst also bringing a natural glow to the skin.

What’s your go-to cheap foundation? Do you prefer cheaper foundations over their more pricey counterparts?
