The Libertine Autumn/Winter ’16 collection had a range of inspirations, as described by designer Johnson Hartig backstage with Prema, “anywhere from bacon and eggs to Mt. Everest”, said the unusually zen’d out pre-show designer. He also mentions the time spent in Tibet with Nepalese monks, using words like tarot cards, mystics, psychedelics, hallucination and acid trips to describe his collection. The resulting pieces are nods to everything from Indian inspired adornments to pop culture references and accessories.
“We decided to go with an untroubled look that includes a messy braid on one side and undone, natural texture on the other side. To tie the look back into the whimsical collection, we added the barrettes to the back of the head for an unexpected, additional pop of colour.”

How to Get The Hair At Home
Prep hair with CATWALK by TIGI Bodifying Spray and blow dry with fingers for a natural texture.
Next, split hair into two sections at the back and braid the left section of hair beginning behind the ear and low at the hairline. Secure with an elastic and pull at the braid to achieve a messy texture.
Roughly tousle hair at the root with fingers and finish with CATWALK by TIGI Work It Hairspray.
Clip barrettes at random in the back of the head.
