Pricey vs Priceline: Illuminating Blush

by Madeleine Borgersen

Looking for a blush that will add a little more oomph to those cheekbones? An illuminating blush is for you. Here’s a cheapie and a cult to see if it’s worth a shop!

Pricey vs Priceline: Illuminating Blush

Pricey: Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Blush – Diffused Heat – $46

One of my all time favourite blushes, Diffused Heat is a gorgeous pink/peach shade in the range of Ambient Lighting Blushes by Hourglass. Packed with colour and a gorgeous subtle sparkle the illuminating blushes add depth and dimension to your face.

Each powder is handmade using an advanced Miscelare technique (meaning ‘to mix’ in Italian) giving a marbled design, each blush is slightly different offering a combination of colour and highlight that’s a one step glam-up for the cheeks.

The result? A gorgeous, glowing, dimensional colour that’s not at all powdery, flat or dull.

FOA makeup is really good for the price. Have not tried this one personally but I have 3 hourglass blushes and I love them to bits. I agree definitely worth saving for.
