Pricey vs Priceline: Tinted Moisturisers

by Madeleine Borgersen

Nothing beats a great tinted moisturiser in the warmer months. Offering a little bit of coverage and a whole punch of glow and sun protection they’re a girl’s best friend for an easy and gorgeous daily face. Should you spend out big for this summer staple or is it ok to save on it?

Pricey vs Priceline: Tinted Moisturisers

Pricey: Mecca Cosmetica – In Good Light Tinted Moisturiser – $45

Mecca Cosmetica’s tinted moisturiser In A Good Light is a gorgeous lightly tinted lotion that comes in three shades offering both UVA and UVB protection with an SPF of 30. All the good basics you’d want from a tinted moisturiser.

But then it gets better! Offering not only a gorgeously light tint that will have your skin glowing it also treats your skin with super hydrating hyaluronic acid, pomegranate extract and Vitamin E for an extra nourishing, not at all oily, pamper.

It’s finish is matte yet radiant (yes they can coexist!) making it the perfect base for a simple beach face or to play down a bright pop of a pout.

I’ve tried the Sun Sense one it was ok in my opinion. I love my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. It’s served me well over the years.

Love this … So true. Just because something is pricey doesn’t mean it’s best!
