Food Fix Friday: Devon on Danks

by Madeleine Borgersen

From chips and soft serve for breakfast to Dr Suess inspired eggs, Devon on Danks brings the kid out in all of us making us excited once again for the most important meal of the day.

Food Fix Friday: Devon on Danks

The new sister of the famous Devonshire St cafe, Devon on Danks is our new favourite haunt. With amazing coffee, tantilising quick sweets and treats for those on the go and an impressive sit-down menu full of old and new favourites it’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends or work.

Menu highlights would definitely have to be the Dr Suess inspired ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ with perfectly cooked 63 degree egg and serious ‘man’ sized ham. The Breakfast with Sakuma’s is another amazing pick for those loving the more savoury breakfast with a subtly smokey eel croquette and perfectly cooked salmon.

For the sugar cravers their fries and salted caramel soft serve is unmissable as well as their fried-to-order donuts and cronuts. For those in serious need of TLC, their take on French toast, Little Lost Bread is a game changer; with brioche french toast, fresh and freeze dried strawberries, balsamic and strawberry gastrique, strawberry cheesecake ice cream, Arnott’s biscuit crumble – oh, and bacon if you’d like it too!

Open every day for Breakfast and Lunch (same menu throughout, hallelujah!) and transforming into an amazing Malaysian style eatery for their dinner service on Thursday through to Saturday, it’s a definite addition to your must-check-out in Sydney list.
