The world thrives with natural beauty and thus no moment or space can truly define my favour way to enjoy the nature of this realm. It is travelling to foreign gems that makes me feel at home, the local beaches crashing waves proving the world is my own. It is adventure at the highest peaks and daring the move those mountains into valleys of knowledge we seek. It is alone and shared with friends, my search for my favourite spot will never end! Either VIP nights would be splendid!! ?

  55. My favourite way to enjoy nature is from a safe distance! Maybe a David Attenborough doco on the couch, enjoying the beauty and terror second hand – with cheese & wine within reach of course! I love getting outdoors, but I’m that person who always ends up with a bite, or an allergic reaction, or a busted achilles just because I dared walk on sand… it’s much safer from my couch! Or – from Stoneleigh No.50 😉 I’d love to go to the VIP event with Mitchell Ore. Fingers crossed, and thanks for the chance x

My favourite way to enjoy nature is to go hiking through the Blue Mountains – there’s so much variety of flora and fauna due to the changing altitude, and it’s an escape from the ‘real world’ in the city.

Stoneleigh No.50 looks exactly the same, which is why I’d love to go – the house has been transformed into a surreal fairy grotto, as far removed from the ‘real world’ as hiking in the bush. Plus, there’s the added benefit of wine! I could attend on both November 16th and 27th.

  167. Love this Madeleine 🙂 Question – why would you choose an AHA over a BHA? What is the difference?!

    • Sure! AHA’s are naturally derived where as BHA (Salicylic Acid) is a chemical compound. The main difference is AHA’s are water soluble and BHA is oil soluble so they have different effects on the skin. BHA is great for acne prone skin as it breaks down oil and reduces inflammation. AHAs are more of a surface exfoliator better for resurfacing and anti-ageing 🙂

  390. Catherine Macarounas says:

I’ve recently tried the Facial Radiance Pads from First Aid Beauty and found that my skin didn’t really react well, do you recommend either of these for sensitive skin?

    • Hey Catherine! I haven’t personally tried the First Aid Beauty pads but with any chemical exfoliant, it’s an acid, gentle but still can irritate some skins. I’d consider myself as having sensitive skin and I had no reaction to either of these brands. I hope that helps! x

  391. I’ve always been tempted by the L’Occitane Almond Oil but I’m going to check out the Sanctuary one =) Thanks!

  392. Great post! Cleansing oils have definitely changed my skincare routine. Love ther Dermalogica one and need to try the AESOP one. I also love the EMMA HARDIE Amazing Face Cleansing Balm and THE BODY SHOP Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil which are both water activated.

  393. Thats a great price for bronzer and if it works for we paler skinned ladies then I’m all for it! I’m intrigued by the scent you mention – I have so many fond memories of playing with my mothers powder as a child so I’m almost tempted to go and buy it just for that! Xo

  394. Great post MB! Definitely having a run at the Playboy one. And I’m with you… how’s the branding choice! Never the less, if it’s a bronzer for pale gals (which can be tricky!) I’m in! x
