Mimic the Muse: Emma Watson

by Madeleine Borgersen

One of the most talented and naturally gorgeous child stars that has transitioned into a stunning woman is Emma Watson. She’s stylish, talented, smart and gorgeous to boot. Why wouldn’t we want to mimic that muse?

Mimic the Muse: Emma Watson

This look is great for anyone that’s time poor or like’s a quick but glam look for work or play. To mimic Emma Watson’s gorgeous style think light skin, long lashes and a gorgeous bold lip.

The Base

Emma Watson has a naturally freckly face and she doesn’t try to hide it which I love.

Opt for a lighter wear foundation, using concealer to cover up any darkness or blemishes. This will show through the gorgeous areas of your skin and give your final look a lighter appearance once you add the deep lip colour.

For lighter, but long wearing foundations try Stila’s Stay All Day, Napoleon’s BBB Cream, Kate Somerville’s CC Cream or the L’Oreal True Match. Add a small amount of product from the center of the face out, concentrating on areas of your face that need a little more coverage and lightly sweeping over those gorgeous areas that naturally glow.

The Eyes

Emma Watson has gorgeously long lashes. If you don’t naturally try a few naturalesque false lashes or for something easier why not consider eyelash extensions? If you’re blessed to have long gorgeous lashes too try a volumising mascara like Bourjois’ En Seconde Volumising Mascara to give them that extra oomph.

For a day look team it with a soft line of kohl eyeliner or for a more dramatic, evening look try a liquid or gel eyeliner catflick.

The Lips

Emma rocks a huge range of lipstick shades from ruby red to deep berry even a light coral in the warmer months. For a ‘suits everyone’ gorgeous wine tone try NARS’ Volga or for a true Emma Watson red, MAC’s Lady Danger.
