I love her dark smokey eye and nude lip combo. It’s great for a heavy day look or night out and isn’t as hard as you’d think!
1. Contour it up
Use a dewy foundation like NARS Sheer Glow over your base keeping the coverage solid but the finish fresh and light.
With your fingers apply the lighter cream highlight to the top of your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose to accentuate the contour and emphasise the dewy complexion.
2. Shadow Those Eyes
Take the hard work out of a heavy smokey eye by using a creamy eyeshadow stick like Bobbi Brown, By Terry or Covergirl applying the colour first to the lashline and blending up and out to create a gradient of heavy on the lid and softly up to the eyebrow.
Add a light shadow to just under the eyebrow (or you could reuse your cream highlighter) to keep those brows defined.
3. Nude Lip & Filled Brows
Use a nude lipstick with a slight bit of sheen to finish the look, after all, it’s all about those eyes. The Maybelline Color Sensational Stripped Nudes in Sultry Sand is perfect.
Fill your brows with powder or wax. With the heavier shadow it’s important to have an equally strong brow to pull of the look.
