Pricey vs Priceline: Under Eye Concealer

by Madeleine Borgersen

This is the first in a new column I’m going to start, Pricey vs Priceline where I’ll compare two products, one up the higher end of the purse spectrum and another a cheapy but a goody!

Pricey vs Priceline: Under Eye Concealer

Under eye concealer is one of the most effective and under used beauty products in your makeup bag arsenal. If you don’t have one yet here’s the two top under eye concealers for you to try!

1. Pricey – By Terry Touche Veloutee Enlightening Concealer – $79

The By Terry under eye concealer comes with an in-built brush similar to the Ellis Faas. It’s an amazing under-eye concealer.

5 matte reflecting prisms helped by hydra-plumping hyaluronic acid microspheres offer optical “lifting” results: wrinkles and fine lines appear diminished, while dark spots, redness and blemishes are perfectly concealed with a lasting illuminating finish. – Mecca Cosmetica

I personally have no idea what that even means, but I know hyaluronic acid is amazing, and I know this product works. It’s a fantastic concealer if you’re looking for a post-breakup or birthday splurge!

2. Priceline – Rimmel London ‘Wake Me Up!’ Brightening Concealer – $14.95

For the price tag this under eye concealer is amazingAmazing! AMAZING!

It’s the perfect brightening concealer to totally punch-kick any under-eye blues to the curb.

My Verdict:

Save your pennies on this one, or grab 5 of the Rimmel and stash them in case there’s a zombie apocalypse.

love this Madeleine, in my past life, as a work-aholic, childless single I would buy the very best makeup. Often suckered in by beautiful packaging. I’m now a married mum to one. I’ve just moved away from my role as owner operator/creative director/full time working Mum/too busy to do anything well/never wearing make up; to a Mum, wife and entrepreneur working from home on an exciting new biz with my bestie. I think I might start wearing make-up again, maybe. Wake Me Up looks like it needs to be in my priceline basket!
