Top Cream Eyeshadows

Top Cream Eyeshadows

Cream eyeshadows are fantastic. Super easy to apply and blend, they are the perfect option for anyone that’s newer to makeup or just wants to get their look done quicker and easier.

Here’s a few of my top cream eyeshadows so far!

1. MAC – Pro Longwear Paint Pot – Groundwork – $35

These paint pots were my first introduction to cream eyeshadows. They’ve got a great colour payoff and last for ages.

2. Maybelline – Colour Tattoo – Audacious Asphalt – $11.95

Another pot-based cream eyeshadow this one boasts to lasting 24 hours. I’m not keen to test this theory but it definitely does last the full day.

3. Laura Mercier – Caviar Stick – Rose Gold – $39

This one like my next three come in a crayon design which I personally prefer. They’re a lot easier to apply and take up less room in your makeup collection. This is a beautiful warm gold that looks great on it’s own or as a base for a golden smokey eye.

4. By Terry – Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow – Beyond Gold – $62

I love this one! Its a cooler, true gold. Great for a night out or just a Tuesday in your pyjamas watching a House of Cards marathon.

5. Bobbi Brown – Long-wear Cream Shadow Stick – Violet Plum– $44

Admittedly the Bobbi Brown doesn’t last quite as long as the other brands. However it definitely lasts for an average day and the colour range is just beautiful. I love this purple with my green eyes. Makes a great subtle smokey eye or a unique base for a heavier look for evenings.

What are your favourite eyeshadows? Have you tried any of the above? I’d love to hear your opinions in the comments below or via twitter or facebook!
