These eyebrow duo’s are great as they offer a wax and a powder which you can create different looks with. The wax is great for creating definition (think killer arches!) and pushing down pesky hairs. The powder is great for filling gaps and adding oomph!
Benefit’s BrowZings was my first foray into the world of eyebrow filling. After a bad experience with eyebrow filling when I was 12 (I still think they were way too dark Mum!) I was scarred for life, living out my days with terribly thin and gappy brows. Thankfully I saw the light. I now fill my brows over any other form of makeup.
They come with a handy angled brush and a softer brush (for the powder, but I just use the hard angled for both, I personally find it works better!) and a teeny tiny pair of tweezers for any pesky hairs that have grown out of nowhere overnight.
The Benefit BrowZings comes in three shades; light, medium and dark giving every brow the chance to look fabulous darling!
When I saw this I almost thought it was a BrowZing. The Models Prefer Essential Eyebrow Kit mimics it’s older sister with a wax and powder and a brush (only one this time, but it’s the good one!) and tweezers.
It comes in two shades, light and medium, but this will be the colours most people will go for, the medium is for brunettes, the light for blondes.
Unlike the Benefit, the Models Prefer wax is the same colour for both versions which, for anyone that prefers the wax by itself might be a deal breaker. The Models Prefer did a great job of filling my brows just as the benefit does but I definitely prefer Benefit’s wax over the Model’s Prefer.
If you’re new to eyebrow filling and just want to try it out to see if you like it definitely go grab a Models Prefer. Once you’re hooked (like me!) head to the big leagues and invest in a Benefit BrowZing. They last so long it’s definitely still value for money!
