How does CoolSculpting work?
CoolSculpting works by bring fat cells down to a temperature below freezing. Fat cells are naturally vulnerable to the cold and will on exposure, start the body’s natural death and removal cycle of the affected cells with zero damage to the surrounding cells like skin, muscle and tissue.
Cooling panels and protective gel pads are used to deliver stable cooling to the area you’re wishing to target. Once crystallised or frozen the fat cells are removed naturally via the liver via a process known as apoptosis.
Is there an immediate change?
No, unlike liposuction you won’t walk out without the fat straight away. The fat cells are naturally removed by the body over the following few weeks to months for a natural decline in your problem areas.
