Opening from Thursday October 6 for two months, the restaurant will take over Waterloo’s 2 Danks St to showcase the best of Sydney’s eating and drinking offerings.
The menu features picks from from some of Sydney’s most loved venues including; The Apollo, Fratelli Paradiso, 10 William St, The Unicorn Hotel, Shenkin, Short Stop Donuts, Nomad Wine Store, Dead Ringer, Reuben Hills and many more.
John Javier of Master Dining will lead the kitchen, with the team from Bulletin Place creating a one-off cocktail menu and Samantha Payne of Nomad Wine Store putting together a local wine list.
Interior architects Foolscap Studio and Relative (the team behind the Noma Sydney pop-up) have collaborated to create a space that captures the best of Sydney’s dining scene – cool, casual and fun. Leading local designers provide the finer details – everything from the tables to the light fittings.
“Broadsheet is a platform to celebrate the best of our cities and we’re always thinking of fresh ways to connect our readers with their city’s culture. Food is such a universal way to do this.”
The restaurant will offer day-long dining, opening Thursdays through to Synday from 8am to midnight with tunes supplied by FBi Radio.
Want a table? The Broadsheet Restaurant will take both bookings and walk-ins.
