Starting next Monday (Feb 9) the quirky, amazing cafe on Newtown Station’s concourse, Cuckoo Callay, is adding something even more fabulous to their already amazing menu. BACON.

Not just bacon, but an entire bacon menu. Eight creatively made dishes featuring the amazing pork from Marrickville’s local Black Forest Smokehouse. The menu ranges from a mapled bacon Bloody Mary and Bacon based milkshake to a Popcorn Chicken and Beer Candied Bacon Burger and Sticky Sweet Chilli Pork Belly.

The Bacon Festival will change the way you view bacon from ‘God’s gift to humanity’ to ‘Bacon is my family’.

If you’re reading this thinking it would be perfect for your valentine (or galentine) definitely book a table for their Valenswine’s Menu. The love-themed bacon fest will be happening on February 15 for $65/person, with two seatings for dinner at 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The menu features four courses from their bacon fest menu plus a bacon based cocktail for you and your loved one to stuff your face on. Now that’s true love. To make a reservation just shoot them an email!

  2. I would move to Sydney just for this. Not sure about the bacon cocktail, but the Popcorn Chicken & Beer Candied Bacon Burger sounds like heaven x
