Are you addicted to apologising? Even when you’re intending on being assertive a ‘sorry but’ or ‘do you know what I mean?’ might unconsciously be typed into your screen as if your fingers have a mind of their own. This new plugin for Chrome is for you.

Just Not Sorry is a free plugin that connects to Gmail to warn you whenever you’re opting for words or phrases that undermine your message.

Underlined in your compose screen, words and phrases like ‘just’, ‘I’m no expert but’, and even ‘I think’ will be flagged to your attention with helpful reminders on how they can be perceived by your recipient to keep you on track.

Created by Tami Reiss to aid women in the journey of getting their voices heard, the browser addition has been downloaded faster than the latest episode of Game of Thrones to help ditch the ‘soft language’ boss-femmes can fall back onto, once and for all.
