How To Tidy Your House In Ten Minutes

by Madeleine Borgersen

We’ve all been there. You come home to find your partner has invited everyone over and they’re already on their way. Your home’s looked better and you start wondering how much you can get cleaned in the next ten minutes. Quite a lot is the answer, and here’s how!

How To Tidy Your House In Ten Minutes

Looking to speed up your day to day cleaning? Ditch the cords and opt for the super powerful and easy to use Dyson V6 Cordless Vaccum.

1. Prioritise Big to Small

When you’re strapped for time, prioritising is crucial. Focus on the big picture items, putting away things like ironing boards from the morning or that exercise ball you swear you use.

2. Batch it In Baskets

The quickest way to tidy a room? Batch everything into a basket. You can sort through it later or, better yet, style your home to suit this quick and efficient style of storage. Kids toys everywhere? Pop them all in a basket to clear the floor and have them close and handy for playtime later. Laundry out needing to be folded? Unpeg it and pop it in a clean basket and bring it to your room. Out of sight, out of mind!

3. Ditch the Big Appliances

When your parents are parking the car in your driveway there’s no time to wrestle with cords. Replace your vacuum with the Dyson V6 Absolute. It’s cordless, powerful (trust me, I have a pug and this baby picks up everything!) and super quick and easy to use. You’ll blitz through your home in less than 5 minutes with this life changing machine that suctions up fine dust and larger dirt in both forward and backwards movements with its specifically designed heads and ingenious motor.

With extendable and removable accessories, the Dyson V6 Absolute covers all your cleaning from carpets to timber flooring, cobwebs in your corners to small, tight spaces like your car meaning you can quickly tackle any dry mess in your home with the one machine.

The Dyson V6 is compact and light but seriously powerful. Especially on stubborn pet hair!

4. Open Your Windows

Fresh air and sunlight does wonders for any room. Open blinds and any doors to let the sun in, or if it’s too cold, spritz a room spray or light a candle for a fresh, welcoming scent without the weather.

5. Dust til Your Done

Have a few more minutes up your sleeve? Grab a static glove or microfibre and dust your common area furniture for the final cleanup. Ditch the cloth on your way to the door and treat yourself and your guests to a bottle of something nice for all your hard work.

This is not sponsored content, however, we were sent the Dyson V6 Absolute to trial and absolutely fell in love!
